Overview
The San Juanico Community Project aims to support the San Juanico-Scorpion Bay community through both medical and nonclinical measures. Members of this project will aid in the planning and execution of virtual and in-person clinics, including the summer San Juanico clinic trips. Other tasks include, but are not limited to, analysis of clinic and needs assessment data, collaboration with other projects to create educational workshops for community health workers, and the organization of an annual children's toy drive.
This project team is an evolving group, and our activities may change as the communities we serve grow. In the next 1-2 years, the board hopes to establish a new clinic site in Mexicali, and the San Juanico Community Project will assist in this effort.
