Community Garden Project

Our ultimate goal is to transform the unused space outside of the community center in Tijuana Progreso into a vibrant community garden. This garden will provide free food and green spaces in the community of Tijuana Progreso. The first step of this project was clearing out the rocks and debris.  We currently have tire planters in position as well as some remediation of the planter soil done.  Our next goal will be to get some usable produce growing there, setting up a watering schedule, and getting a compost bin there.
